I heart Tim Burton! Well, not Tim Burton personally, but definitely his wild imagination and uber sense of creativity! The man is a genius and I am sooo excited for his remake of Alice in Wonderland due in theatres in 2010!!!
The press photos that have been released are AMAZING and I absolutely love the color palettes. Soooo, I put together a few invitation designs that coordinate with each character. I couldn’t help it…they are so inspiring!
Stay tuned for The White Queen, The Queen of Hearts and The Mad Hatter coming soon! Until then…here’s the first one…we designed this itinerary invitation for a client getting married in Ireland, and it coordinates perfectly with Alice’s poster!

Paper Presence 2009
The design features (3) three separate cards, each layered with a color from the bride’s palette and an array of varying field flowers, including the bride’s request for Bells of Ireland and Peonies. The set is wrapped with a vellum belly band printed with the couple’s monogram.

Congratulations to Samara and Bobby!
We were so excited at the opportunity to work with Samara on her wedding invitation suite. With her attention to detail and impressive sense of style, Samara made it easy for us to get creative and inspired!
Working with Samara, we were able to design a complete wedding stationery suite including:
- 7 x 7 wedding invitations with coordinating reply cards and travel & accommodations inserts
- 4 x 9 wedding program booklets tied with coordinating raffia and a custom monogrammed tag
- custom thank you cards
- personalized wedding newsletter included with every guest’s embroidered welcome bag
- custom rehearsal dinner invitations (which have proved to be one of our most popular and frequently requested invitation sets!)
- custom bridesmaid luncheon invitations
- menu cards and cupcake signs
- favor tags, welcome bag tags, candy buffet tags, stickers and labels…
- we even built a custom “love is sweet” wooden sign for her candy buffet table!
It truly was a custom “suite” and we had such a great time designing each and every piece! We look forward to working with Samara again in the future…
